Welding Robots

ABAGY is compatible with MAJOR ROBOT BRANDS

We work closely with major robot manufacturers including Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa, Panasonic, Kawasaki, and ABB to offer a wide range of high-quality robots that meet your production needs.

Whichever brand of robot you choose, ABAGY software allows you to make it much more productive. No programming is required.

How to choose welding robots:

Consider the current lead time to delivery, sourcing of spare parts, and how the vendor will provide technical support and field service.
/04
Check for compatibility with other equipment, for example welding machines that you've already used.
/03
Evaluate the robot's capabilities in key areas, such as the robot's reach, accuracy, speed, etc.
/02
Consider your specific needs such as the size and weight of the parts you will be welding, the precision required, and the volume of production.

Hollow wrist welding robots

We recommend using hollow wrist robots. This robot design provides several benefits:
The hollow wrist allows the cables and wires that power the robot to be routed through the inside of the arm, reducing the risk of damage or interference.
Improved cable management

The hollow wrist design allows for a greater range of motion and flexibility in the robot's movements, making it easier to reach difficult welding positions.
Increased flexibility
/02
The hollow wrist reduces the risk of collisions with surrounding objects, as there are no protruding cables or wires that could cause damage or injury.
Enhanced safety

Cobots

Industrial robots and cobots have a fundamental difference in safety
Cobots were created to work closely with humans. What you gain in safety with cobots you sacrifice in capability. Humans aren't expected to stand close to a robot while it is welding, so safety is less of a concern. In situtations where cobots are preferred, the ABAGY software is compatible with cobots and can accomplish the same outcomes within the limits of the cobot’s capability.
For welding operations we recommend using industrial robots. If your priorities are reach and accuracy, industrial robots are preferable.
